Removable Battery Slot
The removable battery slot makes for easy cleaning and access to the fleece air filter.
Fleece air filter
The fleece air filter guarantees constant performance – even under the highest loads. Its extremely fine-pored filter material keeps even very fine dust and dirt away from the power electronics and the electric motor. To clean, spray the dismantled fleece air filter with STIHL Varioclean, wash it off with warm water after a short exposure time and let it dry. It is ready for use again.
Side-Mounted Chain Tensioning
The tensioning screw is located on the side of the chain saw through the sprocket cover. Chain side tensioning allows the saw chain to be retensioned effortlessly, avoiding any contact with the sharp chain.
Captive bar nuts
Bar nuts held captive in the sprocket cover will not get lost when changing over the cutting attachment.
